Mohamed KHROUF, MD

Biography

Dr Mohamed Khrouf’s career spans 13 years of which the last 6 years have been dedicated to medical simulation. A former Associate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, he practiced at the Center of Medically Assisted Procreation of the Obstetric Gynecology Department of the Aziza Othmana Hospital. His clinical activity is focused on Reproductive Medicine and Medically Assisted Procreation. In this context, his work, publications and lectures included, among others, the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, the markers of the ovarian reserve, the IVF stimulation protocols, the endometrium and the organic causes of infertility. He has a competence in animal experimentation, making use of it in the exploration of the physiopathological mechanisms of uterine synects. He is a member of the LR16SP01 Research Laboratory. He is one of the main promoters of the Aziza Othmana Hospital Fertility Preservation Program and a member of the International Oncofertility Consortium (University of Chicago) and Co-chairman of its 2021 edition. He held the positions of Secretary General then Vice-president of the Tunisian Society of Obstetrical Gynecology. He is a member of the editorial board of the Endocrinology Journal. He currently practices at the PMA Centre FERTILLIA- Clinique La Rose. As part of his duties as a trainer, Dr Mohamed Khrouf has led several simulation seminars in obstetrics at the Faculty of Tunis Medicine (2014-2015). He co-organized an ultrasound simulation seminar organized by the Tunisian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (2016-2017). He has led ovocytary puncture simulation seminars organized by the Tunisian Society Obstetrics and Gynecology (2018). He is one of the promoters of the simulation project in Medical Assistance to The Medical Simulation Center (March 2020).
