Mouna Ben RHOUMA

Biography

Ms Ben Rhouma gained her first simulation experience attending a basic life support provider and instructor session in March 2014 and since then she has been constantly improving her knowledge and practice of simulation skills. She attended an intitiation to learning by simulation Training organized by IMS (Institut des Métiers de Santé) in partnership with the medical simulation center-University of Montreal, where she gained a basic understanding of the medical simulation learning and debriefing techniques. This was followed by the Simtech training at the same institution which allowed her to practice as well as improve her skills in simulation teaching techniques by participating in the conception and the execution of multiple emergency and intensive care-themed trainings for the benefit of the paramedical staff of various clinics. In 2016, she completed a masterclass in medical simulation training with the University of Paris-Descartes held in IMS Tunis in order to gain a better understanding towards her pedagogical approach and has participated in multiple trainings since, whether with the private or military sector by attending various themed trainings and organising military workshops in multiple occasions. She continues to attend various trainings with the European resuscitation council such as the Advanced life support and the European pediatric life support as well as completing the Generic instructor course. In 2018, she joined the newly-established Honoris medical simulation center, along with a group of fellow facilitators to plan the simulation sessions to be designed for paramedical students.
